Pairing needs both devices awake, on the same Wi-Fi network, with Vitalframe open on the Mac and the Vitalframe app open on the iPhone or iPad. Scan the QR code shown on the Mac in Sources and Sync. If the scanner shows a black preview, close and reopen Vitalframe on the iPhone or iPad. Some guest networks and corporate networks block devices from seeing each other; a home network or a personal hotspot will work.
Say yes. That permission is what lets your iPhone or iPad deliver data straight to your Mac. Nothing is sent to any server, ours or anyone else's. You can change it later in System Settings, Privacy and Security, Local Network.
On the iPhone or iPad, check that you granted Vitalframe permission to read Health. It asks once, per category, and a category you declined stays empty. Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Privacy and Apps, then Vitalframe, and turn on the categories you want. Send the history again from the iPhone or iPad app with Resend All History.
Vitalframe works without it. You can import an Apple Health export file (the zip Health produces from your profile, Export All Health Data), or turn on sample data to try every screen first. Both are offered the first time you open the app, and both live in Sources and Sync afterwards.
Open Settings in Vitalframe and choose Restore Purchase. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores on any Mac, iPhone or iPad signed in to the same account. Family Sharing is on, so one purchase covers your family group.
Choose Restore Purchase in Settings. If it still does not unlock, check that the Mac is signed in to the same Apple ID that made the purchase, then write to us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
CSV export and the full JSON backup are free and always will be, because your own data is yours to take out. Both are in Sources and Sync, under Export.
Sources and Sync, Stored Data, Delete All Data removes everything Vitalframe holds on your Mac. Deleting the app removes it too. There is nothing for us to delete, because nothing ever reaches us. See the privacy policy.
Every comparison names its source on the screen that shows it. The tables come from published research, including CDC NHANES for BMI percentiles, the FRIEND registry for VO2 max, Ohayon 2004 for sleep stage shares, and WHO and AHA guidance for activity and blood pressure. Vitalframe does not invent benchmarks, and it does not show a comparison it cannot cite.
Vitalframe measures nothing. It reads data your iPhone, Apple Watch and connected devices already recorded, and it presents that data on your Mac. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and the information it shows is for general wellness and information only. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decision, and never use Vitalframe to make treatment or medication decisions.
